Lesley Burke, a blind best-selling author, returns home one evening, unaware that her husband, Alfred Smith, is in the midst of murdering her best friend, Ella. During a shower, Lesley unexpectedly regains her sight and discovers Ella's lifeless body. Seeking help from Alfred, she is further shocked to find him entangled in an affair with her former classmate, Kate Taylor. To protect herself and uncover the full extent of Alfred's deceit, Lesley conceals the fact that she has regained her vision.
